Once you find the ends, calculate the following:
- length of trail
- estimated time it takes for an ant to travel it
- estimated speed of an ant
- estimated speed if the ant were the size of a car
- an estimate of how many ants are on the trail at one time
You can also place an object on the trail and see how long it takes them to establish a new favorite route around or over the object.
Proverbs 6:6-8 ESV - "Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. Without having any chief, officer, or ruler, she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest"
