Study a Weed's Roots

Pull up a weed carefully, or assist by gently digging it out, and study its roots, under a magnifying glass if possible. Compare one type of weed's roots with another's. Re-plant a weed on the edge of a clear sided container, and water it for some days/weeks, and see how the roots grow. Take a time lapse of them.
